      Key details Date: 5 September - 19 December 2019 Sessions: Thursdays: 1:15pm - 4:15pm No. sessions: 14 Venue: Beeston Library, Beeston For ages: 19+ Group size: 5 - 15 Cost: Free This course is for people who do not already have a GCSE (grade C or above). In the sessions you will focus on the principles of both written and spoken English and work towards the Level 1 and 2 City and Guilds qualification. You will be asked to complete an initial assessment of your skills in English and this will be done at the first session with support from the tutor.  This is to help the tutor plan the sessions to meet your development needs and is not a test.
